Van and Lori Bradeen are our lead pastors. Van is an x college football player who went from typical college partier to radical Christian when gave his life to Jesus and never looked back. It was then as a new Christian at 19 that he felt in his heart that he would one day pastor a church in Spokane. After graduating from Eastern Washington University, Van and Lori, having married in college, went to Portland Bible College and then helped plant City Harvest Church in Vancouver, WA where Van became a staff pastor. 23 years after believing God had called him to pastor a church in Spokane, the Bradeen family along with two couples, were sent out from their home church in Vancouver only to return to Spokane and pioneer a new Church. It was a family affair.
At that time their three kids, Hunter, Cole and Charity were in High School, Jr. High and Elementary respectively. Although Hunter and Cole are now grown and on their own, they are still in integral part of Living Stone. Hunter and his wife, Natalie pastor the Jr High- College age. Cole, finishing his last semester of college has been a faithful part of the worship team since our opening day. Charity, is involved in the youth group and serving in children's classes. She also stays busy with Running Start college classes and as a competitive dancer.
Lori, also an EWU graduate pastors along side Van as well as works as a Manager of Volunteers at a local hospice. While planting a new church would be considered by Lori and Van as perhaps one of their biggest challenges and accomplishments, there is nothing that brings them greater joy than to have three grown children serving Jesus along side them.
